I've posted/added Russh's map to the calendar; don't know if it'll work, but if it does, credit to Russh

I had a few moments to check out the departure point yesterday...

    Nice up there
Probably would have got further but had to go and get a new helmet after the innards fell out of mine. Still, after ten years, I spose I can't complain

looking good mate, looks like it's going to be a great day out. wifes complaining apparently she thinks i'm looking forward to this ride more than our imminent new child

she's not wrong, ride out in the countryside in the fresh air or witness ceasarian section, not a hard choice eh? not telling her that tho' keep up the denials that's the plan.
still she's got me all day on the 28th, C - day as i'm calling it

And for the six weeks following I guess!
Good luck with it - to all three of you

And as for looking forward to the ride, you're not looking forward to it, it's work - you're actually doing it to show this new bloke around, help him sort himself out and give him a chance to ride his bike - cos you're THAT sort of a bloke yourself, decent, honest and caring, etc. etc.

Well as I did my chilterns run on my Jack last weekend due to a technical calendar reading error, and the fact that I'm at the HU on the following weekend.I can't afford the time to play again on this one. As it happens my route was Soho/Hemel/Water end/Ashridge/Aldbury/Tring/Wendover/Bradenham and a squiggle back through Chalfont st peter and Denham.Nice enough but I think I may have bypassed some interesting little roads? Have a good one peeps.

    That's a shame - next time maybe
Sounds like you did mostly the big roads. The little roads look like fun, but mostly slow - I guess we'd call it technical if we wanted to make it sound like we were doing something hard
