And as for looking forward to the ride, you're not looking forward to it, it's work - you're actually doing it to show this new bloke around, help him sort himself out and give him a chance to ride his bike - cos you're THAT sort of a bloke yourself, decent, honest and caring, etc. etc.

Well as I did my chilterns run on my Jack last weekend due to a technical calendar reading error,and the fact that I'm at the HU on the following weekend.I can't afford the time to play again on this one. As it happens my route was Soho/Hemel/Water end/Ashridge/Aldbury/Tring/Wendover/Bradenham and a squiggle back through Chalfont st peter and Denham.Nice enough but I think I may have bypassed some interesting little roads? Have a good one peeps.

Sounds like you did mostly the big roads. The little roads look like fun, but mostly slow - I guess we'd call it technical if we wanted to make it sound like we were doing something hard
