2008 ? Here's The Plan !

I normally blast hell for leather through Europe for most of June each year (except for this june when it was just the Stella and back in four days !)
Well here's my idea - Along with a couple or more friends it's usually down to Andorra,over the top, down to the Spanish coast and then west maybe to Portugal.
Now. I've been thinking, we don't normally stay together as a group for the whole run because we all like to deviate and do our own thing. Then at points along the way,we meet up again. So..If anyone here is interested, I'm going to put some sort of point of arrival dates to certain locations, so that if any of you would like to come along and join us for all, or just a part of the trip you will have some idea now of the plan.
Next year it'll be less of an off road adventure and more of a chill out tour/laugh. Possibly taking in The Stelvio Pass / The Stella Route /That whopping Great bridge in France? / Andorra / The Pyrenees / The Catalunya Moto GP / Malaga / Portugal / Western coast of France. I have not included North Africa. 1) because it makes things easier and cheaper for breakdown and medical insurance 2) Because I don't want to put off any first timers who may find that a bit too much to take on. Whatever kind of a days riding you like,on or off road, alone or with others,there is nothing like meeting up with the whole gang at the end of the day?
We do Hotels all the way, at £15 to £25 per night, what's the point in camping ? . I'm not going to flood this thread with any more details right now. Let's see if it generates any interest first .I'm suggesting this to you all as, already I know some great types from this site and things could end up just dandy ?
That is my plan wot I come up wiv' .Up to now it's just been an annual run to the sun but with a bit of enthusiasm it could be the annual "XRV European Invasion" Have a think about it and let me know ! soho.

I wouldn't say that Steve. Sure the "event" itself may have taken a dive, but the route is still there, albeit slightly less hardcore than it was before. Just take a look at Breeze's pictures and you'll see that inspite of a few corners now being easier and the track being smoother, it's still a stunning ride. If anything, it'll be a more pleasant experience to ride to the top in your own time and at your own pace.

I for one will definitely go and do it again.
