Dorset lanes Sunday the 18th

Me and Monkfish are going to have a ride out on Sunday the 18th. We will be starting at the shell garage near Salisbury. at 9.30 the same place we met, the last ride out we had. Taking in the Compton down track and the Oxdrove then out to the plain. should be a full days riding and good fun. Anyone is welcome to join us. But just to let you know the Oxdrove is a hard lane for big bikes, and off road tyres a must, there can be some deep water. I don't mind if anyone wants to give it a go, and will help anyone thats needs it, but just a bit of warning. it's not a gentle lane. We will both be on Xr's. Any one and any bikes welcome.

Just make sure you take lots of pics,especially the sections you think are difficult for big bikes so i know whats waiting for me down there

Bugger!!! I live in Verwood, just got my little Snarly for this very purpose and will be working in Salisbury as you guys ride by.

Hi sorry I'm not going to make this. It's an absolute filthy day here, chucking it down and the weather forecast doesn't look good.

Thats ok, we didn't get to far, Monkfish ran out of fuel just out side Verwood so I towed him to the nearest station, the lanes where like rivers, and some water got in somewhere and my bike started miss firing, but we keep going, got to the oxdrove then it gave out, and refused to start. so we towed it for about half a mile in gear, she fired up, and while it was still going we called it a day, and went home. A very wet mini adventure.
