    Smile green lanes in essex

    hi all. just joined. sold my zx6r and got a slr650. want to do a bit of.off roading in essex. im in shoeburyness if you know of any please let me know or if you would like to come along we could make a day of it cheers ian

    that sounds great but my old mans comming over from france to see us this weekend. im of all week and next weekend if thats any good. im alould out to play any time after 1230 during the week

    dose anyone know of a book/map of green lanes /byways in essex?or do you know of any and want to share your local knowledge?

    Ordnance Survey's Landranger map number 167, about 6 quid from Smiths or free from your local library. The later the issue the better so buying a new one would be better.
    3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

    1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

    Just follow the byway symbols on the map, you can't miss them on the ground, they're the muddiest bits of the countryside!!!

    got my self a couple of maps for green lanes.hopefully going to go saturday.if the weathers not to bad.north essex debden.cm22 area.a couple of fairly longish ones next to each other.then a few short ones dotted around the area.if anyone wants a ride out to get dirty let me know.and we can meet up.not sure how good they will be .
