Family Weekend August 29th (ish)

Along with the mini xrv's (read that as parents bullied by the mini xrv's) we have organised a camping weekend in Wales for the weekend o the 29th August.

I need to have an idea of numbers etc so I can book the campsite this week.

THe plan is

Wednesday Night - Lord Vader and Princess Lea and me Mini Mabel and J are going to spend the night under the stars wilderness camping. We will get the kids building shelters and show them how to make a safe fire to cook dinner.

THursday we will head to the campsite in Brecon
if I can make the booking (otherwise I will find another one but it will be just as good)

SPending the weekend in the brecon beacons with the kids. Pub within walking distance and if those of you who are on bikes want to go for a ride I can take the kids for a walk down the canal

THat's such a shame, I have just spoken to the campsite and we need to make bookings ASAP so the sooner I know the better. I have provisionally asked for 6 pitches as that's the number on the calendar but because it is bank holiday weekend if any more want to come need to know soon.

I have gone ahead and made a provisional booking, because it is bank holiday weekend I wanted to make sure we got a slot

We are booked into Brynich Campsite in the Brecon beacons, Chad you can let Stevie know it is very well equiped and in a lovely location.

The group booking means that our tents will be grouped together rather than spread over the campsite. I have put the cost by your names which needs to be paid on arrival at the campsite. They didn't want payment up front and I told them there would be motorbikes coming and they were fine with that.

Bump, this is not long away now so if there are any changes to numbers or people who want to come along let me know now.

Slimie can't make it so there is a spare pitch already booked if there is anyone last minute.

Could you all let me know what day you'll be arriving.

What time are you getting there? My current thinking is to leave Thursday night and stop at a Travelodge on the M4, get up, breakfast and be there bright and early so we can have the tent pitched and be available for much of Friday.
