Anybody been to Croatia?

Anybody been to Croatia / Slovenia / Bosnia per bike? Out initial plan to go to Nordkapp has been scuppered (by me - don't fancy riding in the rain as I do that all the time in the UK) and I'm hoping Croatia (or Morocco - see separate thread) would be a good alternative. I'm really keen on doing quite a bit of off-road riding. Is this feasible in Croatia?

I worked there years ago. the coast road from Triest in Italy through what is now Slovenia, then past the island of Krk ( nice long bridge ),
the caves at Postoinia are worth a visit, then down to Split, and then up to the Lakes at Plitvitsa... thats as far as I got but did it a few times by car.. will do it on a bike one day....

the weather is certainly better than Norway and the coast is suberb

Yup, been there, done that! All the way from Trieste down the coast road to Athens and beyond on my old AT.

LOVED it! Amazing scenery, fantastic....can't wait to go back again.
