I totaly agree, might be nice to have the option of other days to have something to look forward too. Maybe when they were set up they all thought every biker would be pulling their hair out with boredom by Wednesday so Wednesday it is, I don't go to the Odiham meet anymore it is just a proving ground for nutters on crotchrockets, the last time I went some emptyhead pulled a stoppie right in front of me and I nearly totaled my bike (Prat). The Alton meet is a bikers meet and even the Station Cafe owner (Dave) is 100% biker and a nice bloke too so I try to make it there most Wednesdays if I can

yes i like alton and the cafes good too, but it would be nice (if we ever get a few warm dry nights in a row!) to go different places different nights.
i go to odiham occasionally because i like the ride, ive never been able to get near the pub its so busy and i agree with you on the idiots, im surprised the law renews the pub licence.

Re: whats so special about wednesdays?

my kids have said for years "wednesday night is biker night" and it happens up here too. It seems to be a thing that started in my 10 non-biking years from the mid nineties to the mid noughties.

and apart from sometimes going the extra twisty and long way round to get home on a Wednesday - so I can embarass the odd crotch rocket by riding round it on the corners - I NEVER go out on a wednesday night.
