What I think may be fun

Well after yesterdays Salisbury Plain ride there were plenty of areas unable to be explored due to size of bike. Very slippery and deep water etc.
Now I know Matty I think offered a guide in Mendips areas and it seems a good idea if any one was interested in these areas again for smaller bikes i.e XRs Dominators, Xls, KTM 640, KLR!! and the like.
There are enough of us in the South areas to have a great ride out and explore some great trails.
Any chance of something being organised in this inclement weather season
Off roading is just too much fun

I really like the sound of this........But don't organise it too soon, I've got to sell some dominator bits so I can justify (to the missus) a pair of TKC80s now phil while this might seem like another excuse I'm currently running on Avon Gripsters

That does sound like a great idea - and another reason I need an XR400. Perhaps if I can sell the CB-1 I've got in storage and sell the rest of the AT bits...

Well i am up for it might have to wait for it to dry out a little, then again i have a wetsuit and snorkel so go for it.
There are plenty of lanes around and when dry would be ok for bigger bikes with decent tyres and help on hand.
I would be willing to put a ride on in Jan if anyones interested

    Wait for me!

DC - think hard before going TKCs, on a klr or sim. there are much better tyre combos - and will make you feel like a off road god!

What do you suggest, bearing in mind it will spend most of its time on the road as my daily winter commute
