Hello Boyos Saturday 6th Dec Young Phil and I are Going on a mission early start meet at Storey Arms head north for Strata Florida there and back then Sarn Helen. So far Mables old mam has put his name down any one else.

I would rekon an 8 to 8.30 at Storey Arms . Plan is get to start of Strata Florida early and head on up nice brew at the top and then back along the area, should be back in Brecon for 11 ish for elevenses Giggle lots and then head off to Sarn Helen.
Strata Florida will probably be dependant on rainfall during the week prior as there are 6/7 river crossings.
But as a great sceneic ride this is a great one, up there as one of the best around. Ask Len Airwolf, he came down from Bolton to do it

Is Strata Florida that monastery thingy?
If so I went past there in June and continued up the road until it turns into a track. I followed the track for miles and ended up lost following gravel/mud tracks for 3 hours - and this on a fully laden varadero! Managed to get off the hillsides and ended up in Tregaron.
I was getter rather worried as it was getting dark and I had no real idea where I was. I had a satnav but nothing was showing on it!

done Sarn Hellen on the BMW on Tourances STrata FLORIDA can get wet about 12 to 18 inches I got plenty of WD40
