    Shropshire Bimble- Mon 22nd

Very last minute I know, but the weather looks great for tomorrow, even the darn wind will drop!

The 'alp needs a run as much as me, so I'm going for a tootle over into West Shropshire, do a few lanes then on to some around the Long Mynd and see what happens after that... Push off from my place mid morning I guess 10.30ish, and back to N Telford around 3ish...

If you are interested in a short day out, drop me a PM or email me Here (with a "Yes" and a phone number) if possible as the site is sometimes a bit slow forwarding mail I find.

No takers, so I went "bimbling" on my tod.

After a 10 min struggle extracting the alp from a deep rut left by our 4wd friends off the Corvedale, I decided that today was the day to stick to firmer surfaces.

A few fun fords and stream crossings were managable as the weather has been dry...! Food and fuel pulled me into Craven Arms and then I popped across the A49 and did a nice series of lanes before finishing off on the Long Mynd for a couple of hours. A bit misty on top, but on the whole, a belting day for late December and finished off about 3.15, then it was "Ok Chaps, Home and Tiffin"

I had not done some of the lanes for a good number of years and I was pretty shocked at the condition the 4WD's have left the lanes in on some stretches, almost enough to make me agree a limited TRO!

Pretty well happy with a big trailie route now... Might want to be a bit drier for novices mind
