Surrey TRF are leading a big trailees off road day from Rykas on Saturday 31 January, meeting at 9.30.

They would welcome any xrvers who fancy joining us.

The lead rider will be on a KTM 950 Adventure. I'll be on the zebra (well I'll be on it for some of the time at least).

That's a pity I would love to have gone on this but I'm doing one the first bike on scene first aid courses... my motorbike schedule is getting quite clogged lately

I'd really like to try to get to this....I guess a pair of worn Anakee's just won't be up to the job, so I'll have to work on 'she-who-holds-the-purse-strings' to fund a new set of tyres....any recomendations Whealie?

    Ahhhhhh perfect....just the very thing

Presumably you don't have to be a member of the TRF to take part?

Nope, but I did suggest it might be a recruiting tool.

One of the benefits of being in the TRF is they will represent you if you get caught up in any legal wrangles about being off-road.

It is £40 a year. And they are the only people campaigning to keep byways open to us.

That's cool, I've been planning on joining up anyway when things quieten down a bit as there's a regular TRF "meet" just up the road from where I live. Sounds like just the job now I've got the DRZ to play with.

Just not sure I can grow the requisite beard by the 31st
