Thetford Forest trails worth the trip??

Hi guys anyone know how much of Thetford forest trails are BOAT roads?? ive asked around when i was greenlaning in Chelmsford on Sunday meet up with a group of guys a few said most of it is open and a few others seem to think threre are lots of restrictions now regarding the use of offroad vehicles both Bikes and 4X4s.. Im sure someone will have a answer on hear!!!
