Would love to have come along Stuart but i,ve a 1000 mile run to get there!!!!! i used to live in Carnforth and in the late 70s early 80s Devils bridge and the T of B were a couple of my favorit haunts!!! many a good time spent, started off on a Suzuki GT125 twin(KFV392N) funny how that first reg stuck! and ended my biking day on a GS750, just typing this is bringing back bucket fulls of ace memories TAKE A CAMERA and make me smile don,t forget the bacon butty!!!! you can,t get em here. Have a good one mate, wish i could make it.
PS try the Devils Bridge to Sedbergh road if you haven,t already it used to be great

would have loved to but need to do some servicing on the Vara and some fixing/fettling on the TA. Also wife's 125 needs an oil change and there is no doubt something needing doing on son #2's Aprilia 125 (there always is) and son #1's hornet 250 will need battery charging and a wipe down. I keep telling myself I enjoy it. You can pop round for a cuppa if you want Sunday morning - PM me, I am in Garstang.
2001 Transalp XLV650. Faithful old friend still chugging away nearly 100,00miles
2007 Varadero XLV1000. Now you're torquing but sadly gone to another forum member. One of the best bikes - period.
Yamaha XT660r - slowly getting it ready for some big adventures
