    Rhayader Rideout

Rhayader in Mid Wales, May (9th/ 10th).

There is a good campsite which is 200yds from the center of town, 3-4 pubs there which have food, A chippy too and a cafe that opens quite early for brekkie.

I still have O/S maps from the area (I rode this area in "07") and the trails are very easy and great for everyone. There is also Devils Bridge etc for a good , scenic roadride.

The trails are rideable on a Tiger with road tyres mate, dont get confused by some of the pics in the ADV thread. We had a lad on such a bike and he rode round all day with no probs.

KLR will be fine tho, its only about 120 miles from you (I think).

For anybody else who may have concerns about the trails . Girl on "L" plates, Tiger with road tyres, loads of other bikes (F650s, Varaderos, VStroms) all on trailie tyres.

Encouraged by the girl on L-plates, I'm on for this in principle.

I may come on the Tiger and stand at the end of the trails and take photos. Of other people falling off.
