    Weekend meet/camp cheshire

Would anyone be interested in a weekend meet camping in cheshire?
this is the place i use quite regular for weekends in my caravan or camper.

    The Red Lion
    Eaton Lane
    Eaton
    Tarporley
    Cheshire CW6 9AG

really good little campsite in the heart of cheshire, some great country lanes, and very handy for oulton park.
The site is directly behind the pub, were they do food, and will do a cooked breakfast if ordered the night before.
The site could probably accomodate around 20 small tents but could possibly squeeze a few more in.
If enough interest was shown, the landlady would book some entertainment for the friday evening in the pub.
She charges around £5-£6 a night per unit and there is electric available on site, shower and tiolet.
I am going for the weekend 27th march, with a car club so will post some pictures afterwards.
Anyone in the area over that weekend pop in and say hello or you could join us,we have a band booked for the friday evening so should be a great night, the camp site is only 25 yards behind the pub.

Sounds good. Could it be tied in with a race meeting or would it be full on race weekends?

if i give the site owner enough notice, she would save the site soley for us if enough interest was shown, although she does get a few bikers and race track marshalls camping when there is a meet on.

Depending on date I'd like to come up and meet the Cheshire set.

Will I need to know what cutlery to use at dinner, even though we're camping?

although this is a quaint country pub,the landlady is very down to earth, one weekend we was there, all the breakfasts were late the morning after...................................i left the pub at 4.00am and she was still going strong,so she got up late the morning after,i wasn't bothered as i hadn't ordered a breakfast, but a few of the other caravanners were a little disappointed

is there a list or a calender for a quick veiw of planned meets?
would like to organise this so it doesn't clash with anything else already planned, was thinking about July, then at least we can hopefully get some decent weather.

    found the calender

we could make it possibly the weekend of the thundersprint in northwitch,9/10may.
Just checked with the bands gigs, and it doesn't look as though they have anything booked for that weekend.
