I would love to come along to one of these and have a go... but I am totally clueless about tyres and anything at all about doing this.... presumeably we can do as little or as much as we feel confident to do.

Think I will put myself down for June 'cos i don't want to damage poor Ben before TLD!

Would like to chat to people about what is involved too, between now and then.

I'll try and make as many as I can, and I'm very happy to teach when I'm there. Busmans holiday!!

It is a fab place for off-road starters, safe too.

    Well done Dave/Phil!!

The site is big enough just to have an easy ride round the field or a run round the track. Maybe a go on something lighter might be fun for people who have not had a go offroad before. If I have something lighter by then I'll book in and you can have a go. Can't make May but will keep on tabs later dates. If I hav'ent sorted a little un I can offer a big trailly ride around the area if anyones keen.

I might be able to get to the June event. I won't be too ambitious but it might be fun to act as a moving chicane for the other riders! Might also mix in some local trails if others are interested.

That sounds great! I must confess to feeling nervous about trying off road stuff with my AT... so the chance to try something lighter for a first time attempt sounds wonderful. Thanks barftone - if it becomes a possibility I would like to take up your kind offer please.
