Right then me and Wigan Chris will be comming up on Friday afternoon/evening and leaving on the sunday due to work comitments, Hudders may well be up for the day on saturday unless he can get a dog sitter in which case he'll be up for camping fri/sat night

what time will you be leaving sunday DC? cause me and the better half and winxp will be setting off sunday morning

but she's still getting to grips with riding so not too fast yet so will be late afternoon before we get there

we're gonna come up the A689 through to alston then down through hartside to penrith with a few stops on the way

would be good to see you's before you head back we can only manage one night otherwise we'd have got there saturday

Not sure at the moment mate its about a 3.5 hour journey back for me so I wouldn't want to be leaving to late, but it would be good to catch up with you

I've not given up on this trip yet, I have a meeting in Oban on the Saturday but may still make the Sunday night as the calendar says. I've not entered my name in the calendar as I'm not sure how Oban will go yet but hopefully I'll see you Sunday!

After some investigation, It turns out the Parkfoot Campsite is going to want to charge £25 per night to pitch.......aaahhhem screw that!!!!

An alternative I have found confirms via a phone call that they charge £6.00 per night (thats more like it) and are happy to take small groups of bikers.....No open fires but disposable barbeques are fine they are situated in Patterdale :-

Ohh we've already done that before and it wasn't pretty. Imagine a transalp going up the road on the back wheel, because Jay weighs so much more than me, with Jay as pillion squealing like a girl then sitting up on the corner making the little control that I had even less.
