Talking The Ace Cafe Sunday the 10th of May

We are going to the Ace on Sunday the 10th Rain or shine and would welcome anyone to come along for breakfast, will be there about 09:00am, will stay untill about midday for anyone comming a long way. If the weather is good, maybe we could have a rideout somewhere too.

Excellent! Can't wait Rog. I haven't been out on Ben for ages 'cos of this frustrating ear infection...... Count me in all the same.... I'll grab a lift or go by car if necessary!!

Wouldn't matter if it was a heat wave, still no legal bike and on duty so guess that will be a NO from me and my better half. Hopefully able to join you soon
    Enjoy and ride safely

    That's the problem, Rog.

My son has an U15 cricket match at 9.30 so I'll be there with my pencil, sharpener and rubber to keep score.

If it rains, on the other hand, I'll be out on my bike.

I'll try to make it, but probably in the car as the bike won't be well enough. Also I'm working tonight so may be too knackered by that time. I'll see how I feel in the morning.
If I don't turn up, have fun!

Re: The Ace Cafe Sunday the 10th of May

Friday was a disaster ! (I was just going too fast at the time ).Saturday was better, met Pole, who caught me sitting on a 990 SMT in Hemel Hempstead (I was only looking guv',honest ! ) We had a nice chat about KTM's in general and the Rally experience out in Poland too. Then real early like ! after a night in the "Mix" I headed back to London with a case of vinyl on the back of the bike.Going off tarmac with all your 12"s on the seat isn't ideal, but to be fair it was "old mans off roading" Ya' know, safe, dry an within Vodafone coverage . I'm no naturalist but isn't this earth pretty at times ? Anyway back on tar and 1hr laters I'm at the Ace,coffee with the crew and off home.Bit of GP on the box and off to bed.I'm farked, but isn't the biking life great ? I ride all week long and still leave the car parked up at weekends.
