Mine wouldn't start once, and I ran the battery dead trying, So i thought I'd bump start it. After several attempts the bike was the bottom the hill and I was hot and sweaty and facing pushing it back up the hill home.

Then I spotted that I had knocked the kill switch.

I don't think anyone saw me, but it felt like a millions eyes were all focusing on me. My face was the same red as my @.

I once fitted the mitts on a bike then spent Three hours trying to get it started, When I got to removing the mitts I found the kill switch on disable.
Then when I serviced this bike I could not get it started went through everything I had done including checking all connectors then gave up, next day I found the kill switch was in the wrong position reset it and the bike fired up immediately, so we all have done it at some time, including the side stand bit.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
