    Rattle those charity tins!

I went to Fox's Diner in Dorchester today... The sun was out and so were all the bikers.

I was surprised not to see any XRVers out and about.... however, this did not deter me and I rattled the Make a Wish collection tin under the noses of just about everyone there. Everyone was really interested to hear about TLD and all put some money in the tin (someone even put in a £5 note!).... indeed they were all very generous and wished us all good luck.

My tin is nearly full now..... I just don't know what to do with it when I can't get anymore donations in it??

For me there are 3 days left to get more sponsorships, before setting off ... have managed to raise in excess of £350 so far on my sponsor sheet and hoping to still get more! Good luck to everyone with your personal efforts to raise sponsorship/donations.

Can't wait to get there ....wish I was setting off now

    C ya all soon.

    Meesh x

    you shameless hussy.
You have no shame shaking it about at every opportunity.

Well done and good luck on the ride.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Hi Meesh, reference your tin, and everyone else's.
probably the best way would be to take it to your bank, there it can be opened by the bank staff counted and paid direct to M-A-W via their charity number that is printed on the tin.
You need a paying in receipt from the bank to send to Laura Stentiford and ask for a new security sticker to place over the top of the tin. Then go rattling again.

    Brilliant work
