Have to miss this week as son has a cricket match (and I am the official scorer)![]()

Two XRV750-M ('91) RD04s on J ('92) plates.
Laser Pro Duro, crash bars, bark busters, heated grips, GPS, topbox, Alu Boxes, Scotoiler, Starcom, ciggie lighters and XRV stickers.
That would be nice.
The last two Sunday U15 games we racked up 174 and 139 off our 24 overs and got the opposition all out for 54 and 58.
And we have convincingly won the U14 cup games so far too.
But this is against Blackheath, who ship in district players from Tower Hamlets (across the water) to play for them (not in the spirit of cricket in my view), so it will be a tough one.

What time at Rykas?
I agree: get Kevin Peitersson out of the England squad immediately! No, hang on. That can't be right...
I'll be at Ryka's when I can get there, but I think we generally aim to roll in between 6 and 7.
Here's hoping for a good turnout. Some might like to go on down to Hampshire to meet Grendel at the Hampshire Bike Meet (see separate thread)

He is a South African reject.
But I do think kids cricket ought at least to be immune from this sort of thing. Kids should play for a local club (for us that would be Blackheath, Old Colfeians or Catford & Cyphers).
I am not saying the kids cannot choose, or move clubs, but for clubs to actively go miles outside their catchment areas to attract top players is a bit much when the kids are 11 and 12.
