XRV Bike Safe Day

I'm just looking for expressions of interest for now.

I'm thinking of organising an exclusive XRV bikesafe day in August. Most likely to be a saturday or sunday.

The idea is we have the bikecops to ourselves for the day.

It costs around £30 for the day, you get all the tea and coffee and cold drinks you can drink throughout the day, your lunch, the police system of roadcraft worked through, and two assessed rides with feedback, tips and advice from your very own class 1 police rider. It's probably the best £30 quid you'll ever spend on you and your bike.

The location will be either at the Ace, or The Warren.

So, a show of hands if you're interested. We would need 10/12 people to secure the day for ourselves.

BikeSafe London

UPDATE:

Saturday 29th August has been reserved for us as an XRV bikesafe Day.

Location: The Warren Kent.

Important:

Please book your place by calling 08452 307 407.

When you call give them the reference xrv.org.uk or you may be told there's no places as the day is being kept exclusively for us.

The cost is £30 all inclusive.

I have put the event in the calendar. Please only put your name on the calendar ONCE YOU HAVE BOOKED AND PAID FOR YOUR COURSE.

That way I can keep track of numbers.

By the way - pillions are very welcome. You just declare them when you book and pay an extra £12.50 to cover their lunch. I did one with my daughter as pillion. Great fun, and you get loads of tips and hints specificallly around riding two up for a smoother ride for you and your pillion.

Re: XRV Bike Safe Day

I'd say give first crack to anyone who has never done it. Otherwise I'd definitely do it again.
