If the thought of different languages is making you wary of attending, don't let it. The language of motorcycling is the same the world over. Stormforce8 and I went to the Italian Meet this year and only a small number spoke English, and neither of us speak any Italian, but we didn't have too much trouble understanding, especially after a couple of glasses of wine and some good food

The majority of people in France speak and understand at least a small amount of English and we will be in France with French people who will be more than happy to help if you find you have any difficulties.
so will have to brush up on my drunkanees then as this is the international language of the world
after 10 pints you can speak any bloody language....

Re: Getting Together With The French AT Club

    Hi Phill
Great offer thank you may just take you up on that. Although we may not always be on the bike!! We do need to stay at some sites to see how they differ from the English ones and what the expectations of the European campers are. But a friendly face that has set up home over there is always welcome
Looking at Indre et Loire, Indre, Vienne those sort of area in the Central region. Got to keep options open though as sites don't come up that often and obviously have to be within our price range. Still a few years off so only looking at the moment but we will need to do a lot of research and a fair bit of coming and going across the pond as time gets closer.
