If you can cope with being seen in public sitting on the back of a white Dfs sofa with a barn door on the front!!
 I am doing a detour past north London on the way home to Darlington via Portsmouth  !. Basically I will be going along the M4 to pick up the A34 so if you live somewhere thereabouts another wee detour is not going to be too much hassle.I will have one pannier free and some space in the top box so gear will have to go in there.

Don't know whether I'll have the Pan or the Alp but both have full luggage. I dare say a number of gallant chaps will be up to the task.

Thank you both. I will be most appreciative to whomever can give me a lift home. I am happy to finalise details over the weekend to fit in with whichever of you it makes most sense to ride with in terms of timings, convenience etc.... just absolutely DELIGHTED to know that I will be able to get back somehow!! Keen photographers
Calling keen photographers!
I know lots of people will bring cameras on the Invasion. I plan to put together a video like last year (different song though) and I'd like your help. Can you please take a few photos of your preparations on the morning? Stuff like having brekkie, the sunrise as you load the bike, you about to depart? Also photos of people greeting at the rendezvous, that kind of thing. All this will fit the song I have in mind. Those of you with cameras that have burst mode, five-shot sequences of bikes on the move work well. Finally one minor point, can one or two of you please make it your business to ensure everyone appears in at least one photograph in "landscape" orientation? Last year a few members only ever appeared in a portrait oriented photo, and those don't fit the video/Youtube player so well (black borders each side). Last year someone brought a memory card reader (Whealie?) Will you do so again this year? Cheers.
