Elizabeth Kubler-Ross: Quotes: Adventure
It is only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it were the only one we had.
I'm not bothering with the show this year. Last year it was dead when we went up you could have played cricket and not hit anybody. Didn't find any bargain bits for my bike's would have if i rode a crb fzr zzr zx though. Also the clothing i found to be cheap was cheap because it was cheap obscure brands not high end decent brands selling at much reduced rates. It was good to see some things i wouldn't have seen locally, like the touratech stand (not that i've bought anything from them) did get a free catalogue though.
As for all the new bikes they'll be in the dealers end of the month can see them then

I'm not bothering this year - no Honda or Harley???? last years show was crap, its overpriced entry, parking and food. even the exhibitors were moaning about the costs involved. next year is the german show so i'll wait till then.....

I always factor in the cost of entry, on any products I intend to purchase.
Last year I saved £100 on my insurance by getting the quotes there. They were cheaper than the internet quotes, this year will be the same I need to renew December so If the price is right I will buy it there.
I also need new Front discs and pads so I will look around the different vendors to see if I can get a set.
As for the Clothing I find if it looks Sturdy enough to last a Year then it is worth buying.
I once bought a nice jacket which cost a fortune and fitted and felt extremely comfortable, only for me to grow out of it a year later.
I never factor in the cost of riding up there as I want to ride the bike and having a destination is no problem.
it's still a rip off.....

Went yesterday, waste of £17 + £7 parking as I had to take the car to drop into an interview. If I didn't have the interview that wouldve been a waste of a spin on the bike too!
Didn't expect a Monday to be busy but it felt empty which was in part down to how spreadout all the stalls where. Yamaha and KTM have stands way beyond anything they've ever had which leads me to believe they had planned on Honda and others attending in a big way, even the Ducati stand was excessively small.
MotoX area seemed like an unwelcome cousin at a wedding.
Went to the Excel last year, smaller, busier and had pretty much the same stands with Honda, then again, I don't go shopping.
TA700 2010 - Givi full set, Centre Stand, Scotoiller with LubeTube, Honda Tall Screen, Givi Crashbars, OEM Heated Grips, Fenda Extenda, Bar Risers, SSteel Spokes, Arrow Race-Tech DarkLine Exhaust, even bigger smile!!
TLD 2010 - 600 miles, 18 hours travelling, 4 hours sleep and no pint of guinness!! Must go back for that....
