    Re: XRV Normandy Invasion 2010

    Time to resurrect this thread.

Pressures of work (i.e. lack of holiday) means that it's going to be just a long weekend now; Friday 4th - Monday 7th June inclusive.

If you're genuinely interested, please let me know and I'll work out the best ferries to catch (if there are enough people to make it worthwhile, of course!)

Any chance for a couple of hangers-on making their own way from Ireland?

Not definite yet, as SWMBO has to check dates with work etc etc.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Of course! The ferry is probably more convenient than from England.

Okay, we'll have to make our minds up sharpish then.

This is a camping trip, yes?

It can be a camping trip if you like, or there's still some room in the house. We've plenty of room!

Right then, camping NOT obligatory. Must just nag Rachel to get dates from work.

I might show up, depending on time off (I also want to do TLD with an extra 10 days to see Ireland).

It's about 550kms from Brussels so it should be ok.

All I need is space to pitch the tent...

    Nuts!

Won't be able to make this one. What with work commitments and ferry times, we would be arriving just as you are all leaving. Pants!

    Oh well, another time maybe?

    Have a good one.
