    XRV Normandy Invasion 2010

In 2010, D-Day (6th June) falls on a Sunday. Not only that, it's at the end of a week containing a Bank Holiday Monday (and therefore, maybe half-term).

In 2008, we held an XRV camping long weekend at my place in Normandy. There were just over 20 people there, which is about the maximum we can take without hiring in toilets and showers.

Who would be interested in doing something similar in 2010?

I'm thinking that most people would cross the Channel over the Bank Holiday weekend and stay until the following Sunday or perhaps Monday. If you don't have the holiday/time, you could always come over mid-week.

    Ding!

I'll be the first to reserve a nice room for two please

Hopefully, we'll get the same galley slave and charwallah we used last time, as he was quite good and worked for peanuts!

Thanking you, and looking forward to it already.

Hopefully there will be more trips next year too.

(Let me know when you're planning something so I can make sure I plan something for the same weekend!)

I suspect that may actually be in my vinyl collection somewhere. I certainly have Wayne County and the Electric Chairs singing If you don't want to **** me, baby, then baby, **** off.
