as most of the snow has gone.. time to ride offroad again.

Will be going out this Sunday for a gentle ride around the hills around bala, not sure of the route I'll take yet but if anyone fancies meeting up in the bala area then i'm game. Will be venturing offroad as well as on road. So really after someone to pick me up, then tow me home!

What tyres did you have on for the snow in Germany and how did they perform?

I used my Tourances.Because its sort of 1450miles motorway and only a few miles of proper snow riding i thought it was not worth it buying TKC's just for the trip.
Hold on
Let me re-phrase that
I did not have the money to buy a spare set of tyres for the trip
Must say the tourances did fine.As we parked the bikes up anyway i had no problems.
IF there is a next elefant rally i will put on a set of Heidenaus K60
as it happens i just ordered a rear today and next month i will get the front one.So when my Tourances are finished i "will only use german rubber"

Well done you rascal

Paul S was on about about those heindue thingy tyres.
Must admit -- I read the spec and tread pattern and they look a bit of all right

Thinking of shoving a set on

You & tyres! What are you like?

First there was the National last year - " Cant do too much riding now I'm hear in Ullapool cos of the lack of tread on the rear tyre" and now this
