    Re: Big Traillie ride

Went out with a buddy today to recce the 2nd part of the ride, and i have to say it is a belter , leaving Rhayader we took in Claerwen Reservoir (un-sealed road) stony/loose with a real 'Out There' feel.

Then onto Strata Florida with it's numerous water crossings, leading onto the tarmac ride around the BEAUTIFUL Llyn Brianne which in turn leads into a pleasant 20mile ride to Llandovery for food and fuel .

Need to point out that this ride will not work with the big bikes if the weather is poor .

If I have the TA then it should go ahead, although Im still intending on the TA going but if no one comes along for it, then it will have its intended use.
Got to be honest Im struggling at the mo to find enthusiasm for the big bike, took it out today and after 5 miles was bored so went back home Maybe weather induced also... but then again I go to the shops on a single and think its fun.

    Re: Big Traillie ride

If anyone wants a spin round South Wales (Swansea / Gower) give me a shout. I could put together an on / off road rideout. I know of a few areas I've taken the TA off road.. I know some easy stuff and some tougher stuff.

I'm about this weekend and weather looks OK if anyones up for a ride (sunday or monday) at short notice?

My humble apologies Phil but family holiday calls and I can no longer make this one! (refitted the TKC's as well!)
