I'm hoping to be joining you in sunny Narfak.
Busy re-scheduling some family committments.
Should know in the next few days wether I'm a definite or a no-show. For now I'm just a maybe.![]()
I'm on the Safe House List

You can uncross those fingers now, they've done their job!
Please change my status to definite.
Keep getting a "you are not authorised to view this page" message when I follow the link to ATR Thetford Safari 2012. Do I need to join up to ATR to see this? Just wanting to know about booking for campsite - block or individual?
Looking forward to it already.![]()

Hi Mick,
We haven't met yet, but it'll be me who will be upgrading from Possible to definite, which I'll do as soon as I log out of here EDIT ... Done..
Re the camp site, there is no need to book yourself, we've taken care of that aspect.
As far as I'm aware the Safari thread is a members only one; it would be great if you'd join us on the site in any event.
Looking forward to seeing you there.

I've now added this event to the calendar, for a up to date list of who's coming please see the Thetford Safari thread on the Adventure Trail Rider forum. www.adventuretrailrider.com(you will need to log in to see it)
Hi guys, I'm putting together a road rideout on the Sunday of the Thetford Meet, (AKA Thetford Safari) and would just like to get an idea of how many folks would be interested in joining in.
It's a bit of a cross county jaunt but the plan is to head over to Reedham, take the ferry across to the pub, stop for a drink then head up to Filby Broad. Stop for a recce of the campsite there then head along to Caister and down to Yarmouth. Quick ride along the seafront then head back to the Campsite at Banham via the A143. Route should be around 4 hours so if we leave around 11o'clock we should be back at the campsite in good time to pack up the tents and head home before dark.
All welcome join even if you want to make it part of your trip home and drop out along the way or just join us for part of it or all of it if you're just coming for the day. There's 9 on the list so far and no limit on numbers. Judging by the main list there could be as many as 30 bikes cruising down the strip at Great Yarmouth which should make a great spectacle.
P.S make sure you've got a couple of quid to hand for the ferry
Please note, if the turn out for this has exceeded my estimates by the time we arrive at the campsite in Filby, none XRV members are kindly asked to park in the carpark on the left as we pull into the campsite entrance. Thanks.

This may be better for me as the little lady has plans for Sunday afternoon. Does this involve off road? If not I'll ride over on the Dominator and split along the route.
