Glad to hear you have gone for the ultimate AT!

I saw from Kjell's site that you are after a set of RD03 crashbars? Having gone through this myself I found there were two main companies, both of which looked very good. One was African Queens based in Germany and the other is Touratech. On the recommendation of a friend and that fact that they have an outlet in the UK, I went for the Touratech ones for about 140 Pounds. They are a good fit and pretty sturdy though they don't bolt to the engine mounts as they do on an RD07. Instead they bolt to the front two belly pan bolts, foot pegs and there is a clamp on bracket that goes between the two lower radiator mounts.

As I said, they are sturdy and don't get in they way of the foot pegs too much. They only problem I had is that there were a few bolts missing from the fitting kit. This was solved by visiting my local hardware store and some manufacturing at home.

Sorry for not answering sooner, but I have been taking advantage of the sunny weather and been riding my bike as much as possible.

Nice to read that you like my bike, the RD03 are just great bikes with all that pedigree from the early Dakar races and all.

Concerning the crashbars, well I bought them second hand, and I really do not know were they come from.
They used to be black, but I shootblasted them and had them repainted in white.

Looking forward to se your bike as soon as you bought it.
