Born in Africa 1961. Brought one of the first Africa Twins to Lisbon 1992 - "O grande amarelo com altafalantes"... bought second one in Portugal, 1993. Visited Morocco, Algeria(1992!!) and Tunisia too many times...

HONDA = Had one, now damn addicted!

Experience: Many XR's (175, 500 and Elsinore) in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana, CR 500 in New York, MTX 200 and CR 500 in Copenhagen (plus many bicycles!!!), CX 500 C, Dommie, XR 600 and my 1st Africa Twin in London (despatch rider), Africa Twin in Africa and Portugal (Marocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Lisboa and Ponta Delgada), Ural in Baikal, Blackbird XX in Hong Kong, Minsk in Vietnam, XR 250 in Thailand, Vespa 150 in Indonesia (Sumatera to Flores), XR 600 in Oz (Tanami), GS 1150 and SB6 in NZ (best roads in the world!!!), right now XR 250 Baja (recently stolen), XR 650 L and Africa Twin in Kazakhstan. Busy working on Cannondale Lefty with electric hub from Urumqi. Phew, That's the lot!

Perfect combo: Ford Transit Perkins diesel with bed, fridge, workshop and XR 600 R inside, 1990 - 2000, between the Berlin Wall and the Twin Towers... aah! ...those were the days!!!

Secret wish: HP2 and/or twin hub 2WD electricbike...
