Hi Jenna. I have gone for a Kodak Zi8 playsport for £145 with 16GB SD card. This is waterproof to 3 metres and will be used for biking and snorkelling and everything in between. Thanks for all your advice. Best regards David.

Sorry not to have responded to your post about the canoeing - it ' is very remiss of me and have no valid excuses! being busy is not acceptable!

I haven't seen the Griff Rhys Jones River trip progs - I did miss them - maybe they will be repeated at some stage.

Just out of interest for you - the canoe came from your neck of the woods - Peterborough, and when we collected with the landcruiser - we did a deal for the trailer too which is good as it takes additional kayaks. If you went on the Facebook link there is pictures of the trailer on it.

We couldn't resist teh temptation to try it out on the way home so test paddled it on the Grand Union canal at Fenny Stratford on the outskirts of Milton Keynes and again on the Kennet Canal at Newbury.

Why is it we never seem to get out to use these Canoes, motorbikes and other toys as much as we want to!
