I think the silver/grey one looks good, don't like the orange much but thats just me, some will like it.
I agree the old colour looks good but it looks even better in the flesh, pics don't do it justice to be honest.

I take it that Moto Guzzi have not reverted to the older 2 valve heads to give the bike more bottom end grunt. This was the major criticism of the Stelvio when it was launched.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

On the Safe House list. Well, I say safe............
They don't make that engine with 2 valve heads; the 2 valve big block has only (in recent times) been available as the 950 and 1100, and since the demise of the V11 models, it's only been used in cruisers.
It's a shame, the 2 valve big block wasn't exactly a fire breather, but it was a lovely motor. Very potent for a road bike, just the right sort of low frequency vibes, and a torque reaction that made exiting roundabouts on the gas (it stands the bike up when you open the throttle, leaning to the left) a whole lot of fun. The induction at tickover used to make the carbs puff in and out on the inlet rubbers
I still vividly remember riding a borrowed Le Mans through heavy traffic, and the cars parting before me like the Red Sea. Maybe just fear of the shrapnel, but impressive anyway.
Having said that, there's a strong rumour that they'll be making a big block (950 probably) version of the V7 Classic. Ho hum... my kids don't need shoes, do they..?
flat out on utterly inappropriate tackle

I have had a V7 sport (Yes a real one, but not with the red frame), two Le Mans 850 and a 4V 1000 Daytona and the LeMans would pull harder in low revs than the Daytona.
Adding that the old 2V was very sturdy and easy to service by your self.
To bad Moto Guzzi is on the brink of economical brake down.
Anyway, some of you might think that the "beak" started with BMW and their 1100GS
Moto Guzzi was way ahead with this:
The sound of that engine must be in the same category as the sound of Claudia Schiffer begging you to move faster...
