Honda offers gear changes by hand

Honda has launched “a revolutionary new technology” Dual Clutch Transmission to allow motorcycle gear changes by hand instead of foot or that can be used as an automatic gearbox with two settings - relaxed and sport.

The system offers a six-speed manual gear-select option in Manual Transmission (MT) mode via electronic trigger-shift controls. Within automatic mode, D-mode provides a relaxed ride and S-mode a more sporty feel. All three modes are selectable from a switch on the right handlebar.

    How it works
Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission uses two main shafts – one fitting inside the other – and two in-line independent hydraulic clutches that is alternately engage the odd and even numbered gears. The shift mechanism itself is based on that of a conventional motorcycle.

Honda claims the end result is a compact, light-weight system that offer simple, refined and fuel-efficient gear-change systems.

    New VFR
Honda’s new system has been introduced on the VFR1200F sports-tourer. It will be in Honda dealerships in the UK on 14 June, priced at £13,175 on the road (including £125 registration fee and road fund licence).

I thought they already had it on the DN01 model.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

The dno1 does use it as does the Aprillia Momo and Shiver so it's not that revolutionary also the FJR1300 had it for a couple of years and then ditched it
