V-Strom adds guards and panniers

Suzuki is launching an “XPedition” version of its V-Strom 650 with an aluminium sump guard, engine and hand guards and black aluminium panniers.

• The XP is based on the V-Strom 650 ABS model
• The panniers have a total carrying capacity of 82 litres
• The recommended retail price is £7,300,
• The colour schemes are Candy Max Orange and Metallic Oort Grey

Our very own V-Strom rider is WinXP-master. I think WinXP deserves to win a free V-Strom XP just for his name.

haha, i wouldn't say no to a free one of those... i like the looks of it actually... the only thing i don't like is that it's only a 650. A nice 1200 to bring it up to the likes of the 1200GSA would be nice.

Does look nice only problem is the ABS bit. Suzuki are having major problems with the pumps failing and the new ones being supplied have software faults where they can't be programmed to the bikes

£7300? i paid £7k for my varadero three years ago, thats a lot of inflation!

I quite like that . And at that price its going to steal plenty of potential 700 Transalp customers...
