    GS zorst !!!

i was going to fit a new Gforce end can to my GS but after finding this little tresure of a post ive dicided to save the money and modify the standard and can

the benefit of this is it to all intent and purposes is a standard looking can that pc plod cant really give you any greiff over

and its saving me lots of pennys to spend on other bits ive aquired a lazer y piece and will be fitting it all tommorow cant wait to have a proper sounding bike again

Sounds good to me Chad, there's a similar mod for the Triumph, a bit easier though, the end of the can is held on with Allen studs, you remove them, pull the can apart and a bit of shifty work with a drill does the business!

As you pointed out, a lot cheaper! I like cheaper!

I've been thinking of doing something.
As I've got the stock system at the moment I like the stealth factor which I think its fair to be said I didn't have on my AT.
But it would nice to have a slightly fruitier note and liberate some of the power getting used up by the cat so I think I'll go looking for a Y piece and make this mod.

Nice one Chad - love that idea

Youll have some extra pennies to spend on other goodies - if you can sneak them past 'border patrol'

Wish i could have done that with the dommie, but with the standard cans /pipes, all you have to do is spit on them and they start rotting

ho ho ho now we are talking i've won a remus revolution on ebay for £156

put it on today and what a difference compared to the adapted can

its got a much deeper tone compared to the adapted can but without sounding obnoxious

take the baffle out and you dont notice much difference just a slightly deeper smoother sound

also its heeps lighter and looks soooooo cool me happy boy

and by feck does it flippin go some now oh and i did add a K+N filter as well

    some pics

and you will notice i used the standard clamp that come with the shroud it looks soo much better than just a clamp on there

Thought it might, from his description of what he'd done... And in fact, the modified muffler would still be pretty crap from a flow point of view.

Proper Remus job much better for sure. Looking good Chad, looking good...
