Hmmyeah I've seen one in the flesh...

They're small. And they look even less offroad-capable than the 'dero...

    Ulysses Review

    Interesting review Here...

    http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Articl...ID=2850&Page=1

Compares the 1200GS, 950A, Multistrada, Caponord & Strom.... No Vara cus its a Yank thing, but they missed out the Tiger!

Interestingly the Ulysses scored higher than the Strom...

I've ridden one, they are great, tonnes of torque and all below 6500 rpm, I may replace my Transalp with one (when I can afford it), my only worry is reliability and quality of finish, in the past buell had a bit of a bad name however I think they are now on the case. the bike has to be my main form of transport winter and summer.

And IMO cool looks, and somehow Buell manage to get the bike through the noise tests while still sounding like a V twin.

In this months Motorcycle sport and Leisure they have a short article on an offroading weekend in wales on the Uly.

I'm nearly 6'3 in the picture above, I don't think it looks too small, it certainly felt larger than my TA, very short wheelbase though.

I sat on one at last years bike show, couldn't touch the floor on it. The only thing that would concern me would be the reliablilty I haven't had good experiences with Buell and once bitten .....................................

Bet is sounds dead sexy though I loved the sound of the thumper in my XB9s - when it decided to run that is

when buying my new bike this year, I so nearly bought the Buell, the main reason I went for the Honda TA was reliability. However, great though the TA is, and I know it's the most suitable bike for what I need, I just feel it lacks the soul something like the Buell has, then again on a wet winters night miles from home, pouring with rain I would rather rely on the Honda to get me home.

what's needed is a lottery win tonight then I can have both....

    and a 990 Adventure

    and a 1150GS

    and another DRZ 400
