    Elefant danglies

    Hi,
More than a few mentions have been made regarding the Cagiva Elefant by myself and others. Opinion has it that they are nice bikes but spares are just so difficult to find. My mate who owns the elefant I borrowed has to replace the nearside front fork leg as the chrome has just pitted to the point of no return. He has found a breaker who was selling him the pair but unfortunately when they stripped off the gaiter they found the nearside one was badly corroded. However a plan was formed and he is now getting the stantion from the offside. This leads to the $64,000 question, where can we get a pair of oil seals for these forks. It is a 1998 750 with Marzocchi forks.

    Hope that somebody can help.

This UK company are listing them:

This chap on Ebay sells Cagiva fork seals

If you want a laugh have you tried the UK Cagiva Importer - Three Cross Motocycles?
    email for them is retail_parts@3x-motorcycles.co.uk
and their parts tel number is 01202 810100

Even if you can't find a set of OE Cagiva fork seals, with a bit of surfing you should be able to turn up a pair of aftermarket ones.

Don't know if you already have the OE Workshop Manual for your bike - if not try this

or have a look here for your model.

    Thanks Guys,
Yes I have tried 3 Cross Motorcycles and it was a blast. I have passed the info onto my mate and I have no doubt that he waill be following it up.
