I think my KLR is the business. Even at 18 it does everything I ask of it. I would still like a Honda but how much better are they than my old KLR? Does anyone else rate them?

My memory of the Tengai and KLR 600 is about 16 years out of date, but I seem to remember a harsh bottom end with not much pluggability and a very fierce clutch. I toured to Italy 2-up on my 600 no probs except for the small tank; the motor is smooth and powerful at higher revs but IMO no comparo with the Honda V-Twin for all-round performance.
