I started the bidding off on that at £1500 don't really have the balls to go much higher the wife would kill me. Would make a fantastic bike on the road though....I'll keep dreaming. Guess it will probably go for around the 3k mark?

Having ridden a KTM Rallye that John Deacon rode in the Dakar I can tell you that they don't make a good road bike, not unless you like very tall bikes that shake you to bits, get hot in town and don't like starting.

However as a race bike it was the dogs danglies

£3000? If it does, I'll really kick myself for not getting involved!
I'd guess it will be nearer the £6-7000 mark. (Or LOTS more - some seem to be 12,000 +)
