Coming home this morning from the mountains, I glimpsed a 2007 Suzi DL 1000, Holy Cr@p, what a beautiful bike! (and the pillion wasn't too bad either!)
Didn't even know we had them here, what a stunner and passed me the other direction going like s**t off a shovel. Are they as good as they look?

They can shift those machines. Test rode one last year and was giggling that much at the power delivery that I nearly missed seeing the bend that was swinging my way.

Here they tend to corrode very quickly - where you are, that problem may be less troublesome.

Kawasakie did a re-badged version and called it the KLV 1000. Some small modifications from the Susuki, the best one being the orange colour scheme - makes it look like a HUGE KTM (it sort of dwarfs the 950 / 990 adventure).

"Eye of the Beholder and all that, etc " I guess, looked good to me, probably 'common as muck' where you live(?). Out here in the 'wilderness', anything over a '150 Raider or a 200 XLR' looks good though! (Even a Harley, God forbid!)

In last weeks MCN Gearge white offering these with top box panniers, touring screen, heated grips and 0% finance 5999, presume its a pre reg but a heck of a lot of bike for the money....
