Is it safe to go look at a new BMW F 800 GS?

I'm just curious ---- honest

Havent seen one in the flesh yet, but they look good in the reviews.

Might pop out on Saturday to have a look - or is this a possible bad move

Definitely a BAD IDEA.........................but you're still going to go and have a look aren't you.

God help you if they have a Black & Yellow one in

My only suggestion is to leave your wallet at home, and refuse to hold a pen in the showroom so you're unable to sign anything........

Oh - and don't listen to Gnasher if he tries to offload his order onto you either.................

Jeez..........these BMW's just come at you from all angles............

HI ANTON88 i say go look but go on goliath and park right in front of the window and if the bmv looks any better from any angle or can do any thing that yours cannot consider it. Then go home on a bike you made yourself

Re: Is it safe to go look at a new BMW F 800 GS?

I am going to Bristol Motorrad on Saturday to have a nosey, eat their food and book a test ride.

I have no intention of buying at the moment but it will probably replace my F650GS Dakar in a year or so.

No way will my @ be replaced

Bad bad bad...

however, I will be looking at it too (Going to North Oxford BMW dealers tomorrow for launch) When my TA is replaced it will probably be down to two bikes, an Austrian Orange thing around 990cc or the new 800GS

Savings scheme already in place

Read three reviews now (MCN and TBM this week alone). It looks good.

Re: Is it safe to go look at a new BMW F 800 GS?

It's safe to go and look..........you won't get near it.

I was in Motorrad in Alton today and you couldn't get near it for the fat, middleaged blokes in tight leathers wanting to trade in their 1200GS's

'Twas not a pretty sight I can tell you.

Oh and if you're a woman you've not got any chance
