XTZ, Should i get it!!??

I don't have much experience on bikes, but this seems like a pretty good deal!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=001

At the moment i'm riding a '93 TA (which is my dads and he's urging me to get something of my own for summer), which i really love and find comfortable to ride and handle. it would be a great help, if anyone who has ridden these can tell me how the xtz compares to the TA in mechanical reliability, comfort, fun etc etc etc.

and does it look worth the asking price?
apparently its only 25 miles from my house, so thats a bonus!

cheers, spicy

Re: XTZ, Should i get it!!??

I'd ask a few Questions as all it says is 'Good little runner' with a short MOT.

Are the tyres/chain&sprockets/pads/clutch/forkseals/headbearings/swingarmbearings shot?
Does it start easily/ burn any oil/any faults with the gearbox etc

How long has he owned it/is it registered to him, at the address you will collect it from?

If a few of those need sorting it's a project - I'd rather know beforehand.

I'm the last bloke to be negative about buying a bike. It's a SuperTen and it's cheap, just think the description needs further investigation.

Just my tuppence worth of course!
