I'm looking to get me a enduro bike to get out there and do some racing, i have done heaps of research on all the obvious bikes and have been told to basically steer clear of most other makes apart from the japs and ktm's but nobody really said much to me about the gas gas bikes, they seem really good quality and fairly priced, I'm looking at 07-09. a ec 250 or 300. Does anyone know much about them anything to look out for.

My reasons for taking an interest is we have one of their main dealers near by and they have always been helpful with my other bikes and have always got spares in stock at very good prices.

Also all the articles i have read about them have been positive.

Just looking for impartial views really, not just buy a ktm cause everyones got em and they are orange, or a honda cause i got one.
