Handlebar muffs (no joke)

Anyone using them? Any good makes (Oxford, Weise?). Things to watch out for. Tips (bar ends though the sides?).

Warm hands anyone?

Re: Handlebar muffs (no joke)

I used to have a set of Oxford muffs and found them to work wonders.
This was in the days before heated gloves and grips and suits.

I use them. They allow the use of summer gloves all winter long, they're really really toasty with heated grips.

Re: Handlebar muffs (no joke)

Used them on my Vara for a while and was toasty with the H/grips on too..

I seem to recall MoM putting a linky to some that were shaped or braced or something to stop them flopping on the switches ..

The BM lot were using them with something that looked like a Duvet !!. .

Note the use of reusable zip ties to keep them where I want them. Only used when it doesn't stop raining for 3 or more days in a row, more to keep my hands from growing mould than warmth. (Apologies for the Bet Lynch coat look)

2000 XRV750 (NO 3), I think I'm getting the hang of them now, must fit the centrestand before the back tyre wears out. Damn, the driveshaft bearing wore out first!
