    AJP Enduro bikes any good??

Ok the story starts like this...at the end of this year im moving to Trinidad just off the coast of venezuela could be there for a year could be there forever.. On this caribbean island you have a massive mountain range with a million dirt roads & tracks etc so it would be rude not to take a bike!!!.The problem is i cant take my currant bike as its over 5 years old and can only import a bike newer than 2004 so im on the look out for a new enduro bike and just thought of AJP but i know nothing about them are they reliable? parts easy to get? ETC

Might be an idea to find out what makes are available in Trinidad, to make spares etc easier. Is it cheaper/better to take a bike with you rather than buy one there?

Bikes there are very rare and exspensive parts i would have to send direct from the UK. To give a idea of the cost a used Suzuki DRZ400E 2004 in the UK would be around £2500 in Trini the same bike would be £5000 thats if you could find anything worth buying!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, there very good and really an exact copy of the Honda XL/XR 125/200; call it what you like they're ALL the same (with minor differences).

OK Its also a better bike; lighter, having a nice one piece cast swingingarm, better spec as it's got discs all round, not sure on suspension but that can always be changed and the tank's under the seat with a small 'leccy fuel pump keeping the centre of gravity low; I loved mine until some tw*t nick'd it! Parts are easy to come by as ADLY and AJP experience amonst others do them and I'm sure they'd ship anywhere.

Making do here with a couple of Italian MD06 XL200R's.

    Have fun matey.

    Stretchy.
