    Honda MTX 125

    hi guys i have a mtx 125 the model with a front disk, and i took the capiler off because it was seased on and now when its all been put back together and bled the pistions move and the pads grip the disk but its like there isnt enough pressure to stop the bike, do i need new pistions and seals or is it something worst?
    any help welcome

    Sounds like you still have some air in the system.

    A lot of trail bikes have the brake line going up from the master cylinder and over the instruments then down the left fork leg. . . any brake line above the level of the master cylinder can hold an air pocket.
    you may need to raise the m/cylinder above the b/line while you bleed the system.

    ok thanks ill try that thanks, so you mean have the capiler above the reservoir and bleed it again.

    no! what he meant was the lever and master cylinder as the highest point of the system,maybe take it off the bars and keep it level but with the brake line one straight line to the wheel.
    hope that makes sense,good luck with it i hate bleeding brakes.
