I would expect a 1000 cc powered machine to out drag a 750 cc machine, no matter how old they are.
The fact that a 22 year old bike held its own against modern machinery, is a testament to its pedigree.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Unfortunately we have a busy few months ahead (starting tomorrow, with 3 weeks in OZ (mental note - must start packing...)), so that kinda rules any bike trips abroad for the next few months

And, Shel, yep, all my kit has dried out luurverly in this Lancashire sunshine!!!

    Re: Honda RC30

    I WAS THERE !!!!!

That RC30 was pure bloody sex, a complete legend of a bike.

Maybe not as fast down the straights but still bloody glorious in the corners, saw him stick it underneath the factory Suzuki on one corner, handled fabulous

20 years on and still NO SURRENDER.

Came back to the circuit at about 10.00am and wondered will she still be running after the night? then i heard that V4 hammering down the main start and finish straight, noise echoing off the grandstands. I tell you now i had a tear in my eye, one word EMOTIONAL.

Made the weekend for me. The Honda RC30 was and allways will be a legend.
