    The Motorbike Archives - Honda VT750C (1983)

    this engine is were I think it all started. shame that the 6 speed box, Hydraulic tappets, sprag clutch and the shaft drive never found its way past the XLV750 into the ALP and the Africa twin. ( note the XLV did not get the sprag clutch or that 6th gear !! ))
    funny how the engine was water cooled for the Shadow yet the XLV 750 R is air cooled

    the VT500 is has the save 52 Degree V configuration as the Alp and AT just to confuse things

    always amazes me how innovative Honda were..
